ACH Electronic Transfer Questions
You must pre-fund our RebateByCheck ACH Holding Account prior to sending any batch files or transactions. For security purposes, funding for RebateByCheck ACH transactions typically must be made to us via bank wire only. You may wire funds in advance of each batch file or you may pre-fund as much as you want for future transactions.
The standard way of submitting payments through the RebateByCheck ACH is through a batch file upload to our secure FTP server. However, if you only do a few payouts you have the ability of doing single transactions through our ITI Utilities. The file specifications can be viewed here http://www.rebatebycheck.com/achfileformat.html but you may contact our support department for any additional questions on the file creating process.
We give you the choice of what you would like your customers to see on their bank statements. While we require you to put at least a company name, your company will have the option of putting a 10 character description for all payments as well.
We require that all signup's fill out the following application. Approval for this application normally takes 5-7 business days. Once the application has been approved and you have funded the account, you will be able to begin sending transactions. Printed Check Questions
RebateByCheck is extremely flexible and easy to use. You, or programs automated by your technical staff, will create a simple text file according to specifications and send it to us by either secure FTP or encrypted TCP/IP connection. Once your files or transaction requests are delivered to our system, your part is done. Our system then processes your file within one hour and sends you an email confirmation detailing the number of checks to be drafted, along with any errors encountered by our program. If your file contains errors, you only need to resubmit the individual check record(s) containg the errors.

Yes. Each check can contain up to 22 lines of text with each line containing up to 101 characters (for a total of 2,222 characters). This area is printed on the center third of the tri-fold checks and is typically used for payee specific information such as customer statements. See the file specifications for complete details. RebateByCheck supports the ANSI character set.
RebateByCheck paper drafts adhere to all ANSI X9 Standards. We also use custom check stock containing many security features including watermarks and chemical resistant paper. RebateByCheck supports the ANSI character set.

After you establish your account with us, you will need to fax us a voided check from the checking account that you want your checks to be drawn on. Please print and fax this form when faxing account information. We will also need your authorized signature(s) and optional business logo as a .gif or .jpg file (See file spec for additional details). As soon as we have these items from you we can complete the setup for your account. You can then send us a test file which will be printed and faxed to you for approval. Once we have your approval, your account will go live. This setup process normally requires just 2-3 days.
